Why we work this way

Most of what stresses an animal about grooming has nothing to do with grooming. It is the carrier, the car, the waiting room, the other animals, the crate before and the crate after, and being handled by whoever is free.

Take all of that away and what is left is a bath and a haircut, which most pets tolerate perfectly well. That is the entire premise of the business.

It also means we cannot run five animals at once, so we do not try. One booking at a time, finished properly, and then we drive to the next one.

The van

It carries its own water, its own heater, its own power and its own drainage, so nothing about a visit depends on your taps, your bathroom or your electricity. It works equally well outside a villa in Al Rayyan and in a tower's visitor parking in Lusail.

Between every pet the tools are sterilised, the tank is flushed and the surfaces are wiped down. This is not a courtesy — it is how skin conditions and parasites move between animals, and a mobile van that skips it is worse than a salon, not better.

Insurance, products and the boring guarantees

Every visit is covered by third-party liability and pet-in-care insurance. You should ask this of any groomer you let handle your animal, mobile or not.

Shampoos are hypoallergenic and pH-balanced for animals rather than people, and safe for puppies, seniors and sensitive skin. Human shampoo is the single most common cause of the itchy, flaky dog we get called about.

We are groomers, not veterinarians. If we find something on your pet that concerns us — a lump, an ear, a skin patch, a cat that has stopped grooming itself — we will tell you what and where, and then we will tell you to see a vet. We will not diagnose it and we will not treat it.

Where we go

Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Lusail, The Pearl and Al Khor, seven days a week, 9am to 8pm. Same rates everywhere — we do not charge more because you live further out.

Are you insured?

Yes — third-party liability and pet-in-care cover on every visit. Ask to see it any time.

Will I get the same groomer each time?

That is the intention and it is why we stay small. A pet that recognises the person handling it is a much easier pet to groom.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to hand the pet over and take it back, but you do not have to stand and watch the whole visit. Plenty of owners do, and that is fine too.
