How often should I book one?

Every three to four weeks suits most coats in Qatar's climate. Dogs that swim, or that spend real time outdoors in summer, do better every two.

Do you need my bathroom or my hose?

No. The van carries its own water, its own heater and its own power. All we need is somewhere legal to park within a cable's reach of your door — and often not even that.

The Freshen-Up: a bath and a blow-dry, at your door

Not every visit needs to be a full haircut. The Freshen-Up is our lightest service — a warm bath, a proper dry and a tidy of the bits that get grubby — for the weeks between full grooms.

What happens in the van

We park at your gate and run warm water from our own tank, so nothing depends on your taps or your bathroom. Your pet gets a hypoallergenic, pH-balanced bubble bath, worked in by hand rather than sprayed on and rinsed off.

Then a real blow-dry. This is the part most owners skip at home and it matters more than the bath: a damp undercoat is how mats start, and in Qatar's humidity a half-dried dog stays damp for hours. We dry to the skin and brush the coat out as we go.

We finish with nails, a gentle ear clean, a wipe around the eyes and a spritz of cologne. Start to finish it is usually well under an hour.

Who it suits

Short-coated dogs who do not need cutting — beagles, staffies, dachshunds — and who mostly just need the dust and the smell taken off.

Long-coated dogs and cats between full spa visits, to stop the coat from felting while the haircut grows out.

Puppies on their first or second visit, where the goal is to teach a young dog that water, noise and handling are all survivable before anyone picks up clippers.

Any pet who has rolled in something regrettable and needs it gone today.

Why it is the cheapest thing you can do for the coat

Most full grooms in Qatar end up being de-matting jobs, and de-matting is billed by the hour because it takes hours. A coat that is bathed and dried properly every few weeks does not mat in the first place.
